The weekend after Christmas, we packed up with the Whitlock side and headed to Tulsa, OK. Dave's aunt Barb, & grandma and grandpa live there. His brother, John, recently was transferred out of Tulsa to Portland. John, his wife Jennifer, their daughter Ainsley, and new son Issac came back to Tulsa for a visit. It was the first time that we have seen John and Jenn in a year. Issac was born 3 weeks after Josie, so of course we needed to meet (and kiss on) him. It was so cute to have them two together. I love the picture in which Josie has his hands in her mouth.
After a rough drive, Oklahoma's road conditions are pretty tough, it was a real sweet visit. Let me just say that our hotel room had a fridge and a microwave...what a blessing! Heating up the water for the bottles then became 10 times easier. It looked up from there.
Besides celebrating Christmas, Issac also was baptized this weekend.
