our baby is a.....GIRL!!!!

Our Friday, February 27, afternoon trip to the ultrasound gave us many memories...here are some highlights.
Here she is touching her face...
This picture is awesome!! She is trying to get comfy. You can see her head to her rump and up in the air is her foot.

The tech was getting a measurement of her head and she waved. You can see her fingers.

She is looking right at you...you can see her two eye sockets and a big belly.

This day is one that we will never forget. She is developing right along schedule, weighing in at 13 ounces and 9 inches long. All checks came out normal. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant, so she is GREAT!

To end the day...Dave headed off to work, and I went to register. I could not wait. Entering this second half of my pregnancy is super exciting.

week 18

From the front, I look pretty much the same...

But turn to the side, and yep, definitely pregnant!!! I have now officially grown out of all my pants.

I feel really, really good. Dave and I go to the doctor on Monday for the 4-week regular checkup. Then, the big one...on Friday, February 27th, we go to the hospital for the ultrasound. At the beginning, a ton of people thought boy, but now, everyone seems to think girl. Dave so wants a boy, he may have a bit of sadness if it is a girl, but we all know she will have him eating out of his hand.

Here it is...the first picture of an actual baby bump. It is sooooo exciting. I am quickly growing out of pants...Yeah!

As of today, I am 16 weeks along and getting a cold/sinus infection. But pushing through...
