bath time
Go CARDS!!!
As Josie was resting peacefully, the temperature dropped and the rain took over. Within minutes, rain was coming down...hard. In a spilt second, we had her back in her onesie and wrapped in a blanket. We were under a overhang but still did get a bit wet. I had the blanket protecting our fronts and Dave had the changing pad held up over our backs, keeping us dry from behind. This continued for about an hour. Close family time to say the least.
The game then continued, but we all knew another line of storms was coming. We watched two innings and sure enough...as we were trying to leave the rain started to pour. I took off running with the baby towards the staircase, with Dave following close behind. We had to wait out another storm. As it let up, we were able to make it to the car, but once we were safe...yes, it happened again. More rain!!
What an eventful first game for Josephine. But, they got the win, eventually. We had a blast!!

the first 3 weeks
Since we came home, life has been eventful. Dave and I never imagined that we would go through that many diapers!!! We are at awe each time he takes out a huge trashbag full of poop. Who knew one little tiny thing could do that!! The most asked questioned is, "How is she sleeping?" Well, ok is the answer. She, and I, have had some rough nights. But, for the most part, she sleeps 2-3-ish hours inbetween feedings. I am brestfeeding, so I take the brunt of the night work. Plus, Dave is back at work, so I try to let him sleep. But once I go back to school...he is on at night.
But through the diapers and the nights without sleep, she is the most beautiful gift we have ever recieved. God blesses us everyday and in many ways, but she takes the cake.
On the drive home from the hospital.
When we got home. She then proceeded to take the biggest dump as of yet. It dirtied her entire outfit. Oh-my, what a mess it was.
